After much ballyhoo in the marketing world and on this blog here and here, it comes as no surprise that Revlon is dropping its Vital Radiance line, along with the chief marketing officer, creative officer and other executives. Shares of Revlon had recently plunged by about 12 percent.
Too bad... from what I hear, the cosmetic line created for Boomers was a quality act. And with the former CFO now stepping in as chief executive, you can count on cost-cutting to drive the company in the future rather than innovative products and smart marketing.
Vital Radiance was the best makeup I've used on this "slightly aging" face. I loved it. Please, please bring it back.

I've just discovered this great makeup line. Please reconsider discontinuing it!
Thank you.

You need to give it more time,
Someone please pick up the gauntlet.
I just found out about your products.

Please do not discontinue this line. This is the best line of makeup for "women of a certain age" that is affordable and actually does what you want it to do. There was so little advertising that I think a lot of women haven't heard of it or seen it marketed. It is insulting for cosmetics companies to think that only teenagers and twenty-somethings with flawless skin buy cosmetics. This definitely fills a niche that is missing. Please don't discontinue this line!

I was introduced to Vital Radiance by Alta research. The best product on the market for aging skin. I have been going to every store that carries it to buy what ever they had in waht I use. Bring it BACK!

I too had just discovered this makeup. I love it and went to buy more only to find it pulled off the shelves. Please bring it back!!!

Please contact the Rosacea groups. Your product is perfect for my Rosacea skin.
The rehydrating foundation is the only foundation I have ever been able to use on my skin.

I was just introducted to this line of makeup. I love it! Just when I find something that is really great, they yank it, as usual. They just put it on display a few months ago and didn't really give it a chance!
Posted by: Jackie Broadway | November 03, 2006 at 07:26 PM
I was at Wal Mart today with some $5 VR coupons my mom got in the mail and I was going to buy some blush. I noticed that the display was long gone.
Drugstore.com still has some stuff left though.

I may have posted on the wrong page, however, I have a beautiful wife. She just turned forty and we have been married 24 years. I have spent thousands of dollars and expensive makeup and finally my wife finds something that is great on middle aged women and now its being discontinued. Poor marketing and lack of patience is good reason this great product is going away. The baby boomers are the persons that Revlon should be catering to. Its too bad women are going to lose such a good product.

I also just started using this product after my sister told me about the results she experienced ;the softness of the eye product's and colors. We both are survivors from breast cancer and if anyone else has gone through any type of chemo or prolonged use of steroids and anything else that will take that youthful look away this product was the best, I don't look made-up. If they are pulling this product at least give the left-overs to the Look Good Feel Good Program the cancer society has to make women cancer patient feel feminine and good about their appearance.

The vital radiance lipsticks/lipcolors are just great. The way they wear and the colors; I finally find a perfect color and wear and it's being discontinued!

I have used Vital Radiance since I found it a few months ago. I went to get more and the display is gone at Walmart where I got it before. This is great make-up! I agree with the others who have written, give it more time and advertize the line! There are a lot of us middle-aged women who still care about our looks and this stuff is great!

I have been using the Vital Radiance Primer. I loved it!!! I had no idea you were pulling it. I shop at Wal-Mart and thought they were just pulling it. I shopped for weeks looking for it. I went to other Wal-Marts and then I started going to Eckerds, Publix, Wal-greens. I really like the primer. Have you quit making it? Is there any way I can order it? Thank you.

I have used Mary Kay eyebrow pencils for years. I love it but I don't like the inconvenience of buying it without being sold on a bunch of other products that I don't have the money to buy. So I tried finding products in the store that are equilavent. I found Vital Radiance eyebrow pencil and it is great. Like I said I have tried other. Like Clinic etc. None compared to Mary Kay until Vital Radiance. So please bring the product back, a little cheaper tho.
Thanks

I just got the awful news! This makeup did what it said it would and had the BEST color selection. For what it's worth, vitalradiance.com has a list of alternative products. I'll turn 60 in the spring; I'm seriously considering giving up makeup instead of searching for something new. I agree that poor marketing was probably the problem; everyone I know who used it, raved about it. How's this for Pollyanna: the fired executives start their own company, bring the product back with better marketing, and make a fortune! It would serve Revlon right and give us all great makeup again!

i FOUND VITAL RADIANCE ONLY ABOUT A MONTH
AGO AT WALGREEN. IT WAS 50% OFF SO I THOUGHT I WOULD TRY IT. I LOVED IT AND
PURCHASED 3 MORE AND 2 OF THE PRIMER.
I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING AND THINK THIS
IS THE BEST OF DRUG STORE AND DEPT. STORE
FOUNDATIONS. BRING IT BACK AND ADVERTISE
IT MORE.

I found this makeup last year and fell in love with it. I am 48 and I cannot believe the coverage it gives without it being heavy. Please reconsider pulling the line. I also use under eye concealer. I have told my friends about this line because they all said how good my skin looks. They all want to use it to. Please, please...do more advertising and give it a chance.

After trying many different brands of eyebrow pencil and tossing them in the trash, I decided to try Vital Radiance one day. Love, love love the product. I am 55 and I don't have much in the line of eyebrows. This product goes on great and lasts all day, does not wipe off. Please reconsider, I can't even think of what I will do now.
Posted by: Nancy Ulrich | February 09, 2007 at 06:37 PM
Another great product gone. What is wrong with this company. For years I used the Almay line because of allergies. I loved the colors of the blush and eyeshadow. Then they decided to market only to the young generation and you could only buy vivid colors which looked horrible on aging skin.
I tried so many different products I have lost count. Then I saw an ad for Vital Radiance and looked for it in the store. I tried it and liked the colors on my skin. It also had great wearing power on my skin, and it did not irritate my skin like so many of the other products do. The regular line of Revlon contains ingredients that irritate my skin. The former Almay line and the Vital Radiance line did not. Now Vital Radiance is also gone. What is wrong with Revlon! Do they not realize that there are a lot of us out here who cannot afford the very expensive cosmetic lines and were so pleased to find something that worked in a price range we could afford. Please change your minds and bring Vital Radiance back.

AHA! That explains it!
I went to the store to buy another pack of the moisture covering makeup to find the whole display is gone. Now to find out it has been discontinued! I was shocked to hear Revlon made this product...considering the rest of their makeup products seem to be...well...mediocre. A great winter makeup with good tones for warm skin, nice coverage, not too heavy and easy/quick application. If I had known I would have stocked up. I can afford more expensive makeup, but I preferred this product I bought in a Wal-Mart for god's sake...over Prescriptives, over Bare Minerals, over MAC...
This is the same company that discontinued the Mitchum for Women solid and came out with some hydrogel stuff that rubbed my skin raw so after 2 tries I threw it away and bought another company's product after 20 years of brand loyalty. But now that product is back...but I also have 10 packages in my closet as it certainly seems this company cannot be trusted, and I'll certainly remember that!

I just got off the phone with Revlon. They said this product did not sell. How can that be? Everytime I went to buy it from the very beginning the entire line was never there, it was always being sold out. Please, please reconsider the end of this line. It works wonderfully. Maybe some other company will buy the formulas, it works great. I am 54 years old and still in the work force and with all the young women working now I need something that makes me look good also. The primers make the make-up stay on all day without drying. Please DON'T STOP MAKING VITAL RADIANCE!!!!!
Posted by: Mary Quinn | February 21, 2007 at 07:55 AM
Like the many women that have written....I also found the Vital Radiance eye brow pencil. It was perfect, the wear lasted all day. I have gone everywhere to find that the displays are gone. How can you say it didn't sell, when the shelves were always empty. Please bring back your product it was great for women my age.

I had been using Vital Radiance since it came out and really loved the primer and foundation. I always bought enough to last me a few months and went to Rite Aid today and was told that it had been discontinued. Please reconsider your decision and bring back the products. I have told a few of my friends about it and they have been using it for the last year or so and loved using it.
Posted by: Cathie Parillo | March 03, 2007 at 12:42 PM
Gals!! This should show you how really stupid Revlon has become....these comments should be sent to Revlon and we should all be making phone calls to Revlon. The defining brow pencil was not only the best I ever found...but the only one that came in Blond....which almost all of my friends used, and they all have different hair colors....but the blond filled in fabulous with any color brow. I predict that Revlon will be on the way out if they don't smarten up. I do use some of their ColorStay products...but they stopped carrying BLONDE in their ColorStay pencils so that just about does it for me. Make those calls!!!

I was extremely disappointed about the withdrawal of Vital Radiance from the market. This shows how much Revlon really CARES about customer satisfaction vs. short term profits. I've used expensive department store foundations for years, and found that this foundation exceeded the more expensive brands in quality and overall "end effect." It's a shame they have made this decision.
Posted by: Elda Miranda | March 08, 2007 at 05:46 AM
of course, just like my favorite bra, favorite color lipstick, favortie tv show...
discontinued!!!!!!
obviously, revlon did something wrong if all these women (and multiply that by thousands who don't wander onto this site) are unhappy. this was the first marketing campaign which showed women who actually are the age targeted by the product. i'm sick of seeing things for aging skin being shown by 20 year olds. bring vital radiance back.
Posted by: debra knobelman | March 15, 2007 at 03:50 AM
Just when I found a makeup that I loved! Maybe if Revlon advertised it more - I saw a few commercials a few months back and then nothing.
They are missing the boat on this one. I guess if you're not 20 yrs old you don't count.
I wish Revlon would reconsider or someone else take up the gauntlet!

I am 24 and just discovered linesoftening makeup pore refining for normal to combination skin and I am in love with the foundation. The coverage is just perfect and it last all day without melting off my face. I have a olive skin which is very hard to match. I needed a new foundation fast and did not have time to go to a department store. The color Almond was what caught my eye and it matches perfect. It is extremly hard to match olive skin. The pore refining is what caught my eye also. I buy Mac, clinique and other department store brands. I just googles the brand and found the part or all of the make up line discontinued. I rarley saw advertising for it. I think a younger more image conscience group would buy the foundation. Revlon do not give up. People do not recongize the brand. It is all about brand marketing. Resell it with the revlon name and aim for a younger group.

I am so disappointed to find this product line discontinued. I only had a chance to try one product before it was pulled. I was so pleased with the makeup primer that I wanted to go back and replace all of my other makeup with the Vital Radiance products. Now what do I do? I have tried alot of products, from cheap to expensive and I had really nice results with this line. Come on bring it back!

I have been using another brand brow pencil since I was 15 years old,I just recently turned 50!!The other day I was at Walgreens and saw they were marking down some of their make-up,including Vital Radiance,so I thought I would give the brow pencil a try,I am hooked!!I LOVE Vital Radiance Brow Pencil,I went back and bought out the whole shelf because I knew it was been discontinued!! Revlon bring back the Brow Pencil!!!As you can see once I like a product I stick with it!!I'm sorry I never tried it earlier, but I never heard of it!!

Ladies - I agree!! I absolutely loved the Vital Radiance eye primer. And while some online stores still have some Vital Radiance products, no one has the eye primer, which further proves to me how much in demand it was! But does anyone know how we can contact Revlon and let THEM know - or at least direct them to this site and let them read our comments for themselves??

I am 58 years old and these products are the absolute best!! I use all the department store top of the line products for skin care but not makeup. The best makeup was vita radiance!! I will also email Revlong. Please bring back this great line.

I'm very disappointed to see that Vital Radiance is being pulled, I've been using it for sometime now. When I could no longer find it in the stores decided to look for it online. First I was shocked to find that it was actually a Revlon product and then horrified to see that it was being discontinued. I've used mostly expensive cosmetic lines and at 51 must say I've held my own with aging and of all the products available that I had chosen Vital Radiance only to find that it will no longer be available. I absolutely agree with all of those that have taken the time to write that this prodcut line will be missed and would truly love to see it reinstated. Perhaps the marketing and impatience should be considered the issue as the Vital Radiance line was perfect for those of us who constitute the largest percentage of the buying public with the most money to spend...
Posted by: Debra | March 29, 2007 at 09:00 AM
I can't beleive you're discontinuing this product! Its the best face cover I've ever used. The sunlight beige-warm matched my skintone beautifully. I went to re-order and was crushed to find it has been discontinued. For heaven sakes, rethink it!

I agree. Vital Radiance is the best foundation I've used. I sent my comments to Revlon. Hopefully they will reconsider their decision to discontinue the line. Until then can anyone recommend another product? It dosen't matter if it's drug store or department store.

Vital Radiance was the first makeup that i have ever worn that a man complimented me on my make-up, it looked finished and soft and i looked 10 years younger. i introduced another friend who spends $1,000's on beauty products and this was her favorite. there were quite a few of us that were becomming the biggest fans, this was pulled to early.
Question for anyone who knows what do you use instead??? Help!

I too am so upset about Vital Radiance being discontinued. I went to the store to buy more and was amazed it was gone. I have used the expensive brands, and this is the only product I truly liked, no loved. Now it's gone. What is wrong with Revlon? The colors were great and went on so smoothly, stayed and and didn't change color. Now, what do I use?
Posted by: Sherry | April 02, 2007 at 11:57 AM
Well now I know why I can't find my makeup. I have been using Vital Radiance since it first came on the scene and truly love it. I went to get more and searched several stores to no avail. No one bothered to tell me it had been discontinued. In fact, they suggested that I go online to purchase the products. What a joke. I am trying several different products, but so far nothing holds a candle to Vital Radiance.

My eyes get oily as the day goes on and NOTHING worked to keep any shadow from creasing or fading until the smoothing eye primer. I am heart-broken to say the least. I just spent 30 minutes in the store looking for anything that will do the same thing-again NOTHING! I am very upset that we of a certain age don't matter. Too bad that we earn the most money and are willing to pay the price for quality products. I am looking for a different make up line AGAIN and am unhappy with Revlon.

Vital Radiance makes the best blonde eyebrow pencil in the world!!! I have tried every brand! I will not leave my house without my eyebrows on. Had I known they would stop making them I would have stocked up like Elaine & the Today Sponge!
HELP!!

I see I'm not alone in my opinion of Vital Radiance. I wondered why I could no longer find the products, and now my worst fears have been confimed. Hopefully some other, smarter, makeup manufacturer will figure out that they should hire the people responsible for Vital Radiance and have them create a product for women "of a certain age." I'm ready and waiting.

Re: Vital Radiance Cosmetic
Please... whatever you can do, please bring this wonderful product back. I will never buy Revlon again if this is the way they treat one of the largest demographic consumer groups. I trusted you, and you have let us down. Cut out the fat somewhere else, how about on the fly by night fadish cosmetics that tweens where once and never again. We fall in love with this VR product and plan on using it for years! You have truly made a very big mistake.
I will e-mail all my 40 on up friends and together we will stop buying Revlon - you don't care about us!
Forward to the Pres of Revlon and see if they care!

Revlon, it just goes to show what big American Co. think of the more mature woman. I am sickened by the dropping of VR. Finally, I found a Wonderful makeup line that I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for and was much better that the hight price ones in the department stores.
I too will not buy any more Revlon products.
This stinks!!!!!

I guess I'm not alone. I started using Vital Radiance when it was first introduced and bought the whole line of products. Like everyone else, I'm so disappointed to have the line discontinued - especially the face primer. I've tried many higher priced make-up lines, but found VR to work the best. Just when you find something that you like that works well, you have to start looking all over again. Not fun!

Finally, a product for mature skin, etc. and it's been discontinued to cut cost. Doesn't Revlon realize the women with the most disposable income are mature women? Sell the line to someone else so we can have these fine products back.

I have never like wearing makeup. I always felt like my skin was not breathing. Vital Radiance was the best product. I loved the feel on my skin and it looked great. I could wear it all day without having to worry that it was sliding down my face. The color match my skin tones. I loved it. Revlon, you maybe the top seller, but you are going to lose alot of great ladies. Both of my daughters 37 and 39 had started to use this line. So you now have lost 3 customers. I can't believe that you are giving up on a growing number of customers. You need to take a step back and review this line and your advertising. Revlon is the one who dropped the ball, you as a company seem to think that the 40 and 50 year old wonderful ladies in the country don't count. You will be mistaken. This was and is the best line that Revlon has ever had!!! Bring it back!!!!!

I really enjoyed this product. I saw a significant differance after the application of this makeup compared to any other one on the market. I went to my Walgreens store to purchase my next supply and discovered it was no longer carried there. Now what do I buy?
Posted by: charlotte QUINN | April 10, 2007 at 04:24 PM
NO!!!!! You don't know how long I've been looking for a good blond brow pencil!!!! I fell in love with vital radiance brow defining pencil in blond and now have to revert to buying it at VERY inflated prices on e-bay. Please PLEASE re-consider, vital radiance was an EXCELLENT line!

Like so many women, I was thrilled to find the Vital Radiance make-up line, and absolutely SHOCKED when I went to buy more and couldn't find it. Store clerks I talked to at Walgreen's and Rite Aid couldn't tell me why it had disappeared. Now I know the sad truth. The moisture covering compact make-up and the lipsticks were some of the best I have ever used. My 24 year old daughter-in-law loved it too. Revlon has really missed the boat on this one. The salt in the wound came when I received a glitzy ad mailer showcasing their new "limited edition" products. These outlandish products belong on stage or a high fashion runway. Who do they think will buy them? Real women want sensible products for sensible prices that they will use everyday. Give us back these quality products. Otherwise I will move on to anything but Revlon!

I am so disappointed that the Vital Radiance products are gone! In the past I used Clinique, Laura Geller, Philosophy and finally came across the website for VR. I got the samples and then bought the full-sized products. I absolutely loved the Smoothing Face Primer and the Line Softening Makeup. Why are they gone? I don't know what to buy now. I'm trying to squeeze the last little bit from the tubes. Please help. Bring this line back or give us another alternative.
Posted by: Pam Mundy | April 13, 2007 at 11:23 AM
Please reconsider discontinuing the Vital Radiance line. I have spent hundreds of dollars on every line of makeup out there and have never found one that compares to this product. I can't believe that there is finally a makeup that does exactly what it promises and now it's no longer available to me. I'm going to buy it on line wherever I can until you come to your senses. I really feel that with better marketing, Vital Radiance could be a top seller. Somebody in corporate needs to know that all women want to look and feel beautiful, not just the twentysomethings. Take page from Dove's book. Let us all in!

I am so sad. I have treid to find this line for 3 days and now I find out that it has been discontinued. WHAT !!!!! I have treid several foundations and was so pleased with this one and the primer. I hope that Revlon comes around and realizes what they have done. Until then, I'm not sure how to do this. I ran out of foundation and now will have to go to plan B until I can order and get it here from an online source. Please Revlon, older women everywhere need this line!!!!
Posted by: Jody | April 14, 2007 at 02:22 PM
At least I don't feel alone. I heard they were going to discontinue and when I saw everything at 50% off, I bought everything I could - but the primer was sold out! I'm so disapointed. Please, please, please bring it back! Revlon needs star power to sell it - I loved the real person advertising, but it's too subtle to attract the average 50+ consumer. Hire some beautiful older celebrity, and get this product back on the shelves!!!!!

I just ran out of the vital radiance foundation and primer and searched all stores before the internet search that got me here. WHY DISCONTINUE? Hire another marketing team. The product is above par and the packaging was GREAT. I love the ease of using the squeeze tube, the lasting color, the feel. Prior to this product all I used was Lancome. Great brown pencil and shadows. It figures -- just 'cause you didn't have a emaciated twenty-something associated you ditched the product.

I am like the other women on this page. I
to found this foundation last year and I
was very impressed with it and now you are
taking it off the market? All of the other
foundations are for younger women. I am 52
and it is hard to find the right foundation
or make-up for my age.
Posted by: Karen | April 20, 2007 at 03:57 PM
If you are having trouble finding someone to take this woman's place - why not hire someone who isn't in the business? Someone who knows what she likes and the likes of most of the women her age? A real woman who would be willing to go out on a limb to find the right products for the women caught in the middle? There seems to be a market for the teenagers, the young woman, the the thirty - forty something women but not for the "Fifty Something Woman"! Even the clothes aren't right for us either. We are not certainly dead yet nor are we 65-75. If 50 is the "New 30"? Then why not go for that age group? I ceratinly know what I like! But then what do I know? I am just a
"Courty Woman"!

Please bring Vital Radiance back. I have had many compliments on my complexion..from strangers wanting to know what I use. Yes it is more pricey than your regular line but Vital Radiance caters to my age group and I've just turned 57...please bring it back!

Like these other women, I found Vital Radiance Smoothing Eye Primer to be the best eye product available for any price (and I have foolishly paid more than $50.00 a tube for products that didn't work nearly as well). I, too, find it hard to believe that it didn't sell because after I starting using it I went back to buy more and it was always sold out!! Something is wrong with this picture. The product line was great and Revlon is stupid to discontinue it. Raise the price and make a million.

I stated using your product a few months back I really love the eye primer. When I apply my eye shadow after using the primer it just seems to glide on. I kept looking for it and it just seemed to diappear off the shelves. Please bring it back.

My friends and I love this product. They finally made something great that everybody loved and they took our dream make up away from us. Shame on Revlon for breaking our hearts!!!!!

Did know if m last post went though since I didn't see it....and since I am so upset about Revlon ditching their Vital Radiance line, here I am again. Bar none, it is the best makeup out their for over 40 skin. Everyone that tries it loves it, and it just needed a little bit of time and advertising to be a hit. Please call Revlon 1-800-473-8566 and take a moment to give your opinion to them. Who knows....if thousands of women call or write in, maybe they will reconsider relaunching the product. Even if they only carried it one store, say Wal-Mart, we could find it.

Please, please do not discontinue Vital Radiance. Since I've used this product my skin is beautiful. People tell me everyday.
It is not fair to find such a great make up then have it taken away.

Well I Am 77 and wouldn't think of going out the door without a full makeup.I tried the Color Extending Lip Pencil the first day I saw the display at RiteAid.I was thrilled with the true soft rose color and the texture..it stays where it's put all day..no running into lines. When I went back to get more and try the other products the display was empty! I feel utterly betrayed and after using Revlon lipstick frost for more than 30 years. You dirty rats.Good-bye!

I am so disappointed by this product being discontinued. I tried a sample last year and have used it ever since. I also introduced by mother and sister to the product. It is the best make and prime I have ever used. Please consider adding this product back to your line. I think it was not advertised enough. I found an ad in the AARP mag. Never have I heard about it on any TV ads.

I'm so frustrated. Vital radiance is great.
My skin is so sensitive and turns red with most makeups. This makeup is great. My face never looked better. It is quality!!!
Please bring it back. We need quality from companies in America! This is one makeup that fits the bill.

I am 65 and have never found a foundation so wonderful, most of the time I would wear only the primer, I loved it, it was over priced I believe at some stores, but I bought anyway after I found it was so great. Now I am back to trying all other brands and cannot find anything to compare. Please bring it back. I went to my hair dresser and she looked at me and said your skin looks wonderful without makeup, I had the primer on and she didn't know. I loved the line.

I tried this new make-up from walgreens. I loved it! I went back for more only to find it was being discontinued. I bought what they had left. I have tried every kind of make-up there is and i finally found THE ONE!
With all of the comments that people are writing, it looks like the makers would realize they have a wonderful product and to bring it back. I will have to say that if they don't, I will not buy any of their other products and I'm sure that alot of people feel the same way. I am so disappointed that it is no longer available. I got so many compliments about my face looking so smooth, and I know it was due to the make-up. I bet if they brought it back, alot of people would be willing to pay more for it.

I also just discovered vital-radiance, had a sample, and now find it discontinued. I loved the way it covered "imperfections", what can we do to get Revlon to bring it back?

I can't believe that the Vital Radiance primer has been taken from the market. It is the best make-up product ever to come along. Please bring it back!

Please bring back Vital Radiance.....the eye and skin primer's are the best ever....
It is a perfect "makeup" for us aging baby boomers!!
Another bad corporate decision!

Obviously someone with testicles instead of brains made the decision to pull this product from the shelf. I'll just bet he doesn't have a clue or either just doesn't care as to how hard it is to find a foundation that isn't as thick as mud or as thin as water for aging skin. This product was great in every aspect, including the color that I found after years of searching for a foundation with a pink undertone.BAD DECISION REVLON!!!!I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED
Posted by: Angie Carpenter | May 09, 2007 at 07:20 PM
I went to replace my products; primer, base, powder, blush, eye shadows and concealer...not to mention the "LIP PENCIL AND LIPSTICK" which is far and away superior to any line I've used and I've used them all...Dior, Laslo, Sartin ect....I can not believe Revlon would pull a line that was recently launched without advertising and promotion!!! I will pull my support from Revlon products, that is, until the folks at the top re-introduce the line. Any chance Revlon wants to sell off a "LOSER"..I know I could find buyers.

I went to buy more vital radiance eyeliner and could not find any of the vital radiance products. I loved the soft eyeliner. I am 41 and most eyeliners are either too rough or irritating for my eyes. I hope that Revlon will bring this makeup back!!!!
Posted by: Traci | May 18, 2007 at 10:44 AM
I, too, am EXTREMELY upset with Revlon for pulling this line! I'm 57, and never really wore much makeup, but I loved the soft colors and the fact that this line was marketed toward my age group. I purchased almost the entire line of products and now they are discontinued????!!!!! Ladies, please call the number listed on an earlier post, and express your opinion, as I just did. If enough of us do so, they may rethink this ridiculous decision! I'm also going to copy and paste ALL of these posts and email them to the address posted earlier!

My mother and I and my best friend,Joan ALL loved the make-up primer by Vital Radiance. We are so disapointed, what a shame !! The quality of this line was great and so affordable. Revlon has made a "BIG" mistake with this decision. PLEEEEEEase bring it back,we love it.

Ladies: Here is a web site that you can order Vital Radiance products from. The inventory is limited, but hopefully you can get what you want.

Good luck in finding what you want!

Really disappointed that Revlon decided to discontinue this product line!!! I, too, hope they bring it back.

I too was surprised that the Vital Radiance line of makeup was discontinued. I was thrilled to find it and was surprised when I couldn't get more. As a woman of a "certain age" I really appreciated the product. I'm so let down that it's no longer available.

HELP! I can't live without my vital radiance primer and foundation. The best make -up ever. I got so many compliments on my skin. PLEASE BRING IT BACK

I'm 64 years old and was looking for a makeup for women my age; I found it in Vital Radiance!!! Now they are not making it any more?? Typical! It seems every product I like they discontinue it or "new & improve it" Unbelivable!!!!!!!!! Am so frustrated! Pleas make it again!!!

I started using vital radiance last September, a couple of months after I turned 63. I love it. Who would believe that little tube of primer would last for about 5 months and the tube of make-up would be good for about 8 to 9 months. Today I drove around to our two local Longs and then drove out of town to two different Wal-Marts. Please, please bring this product back. The baby boomers just can't get by using what the teeny-boppers use, and we shouldn't have to. I personally will buy nothing else made by Revlon until they bring this product back. It would be a bargain at twice the price.

Well, this explains why I can no longer find the products, except on line, of course. Please reconsider bringing this product back to the market place. Listen, somebody liked the products, because you had to grab them why they were stocked, because if you waited and went back, they were gone! The products are great! What are you thinking?
Posted by: Carolyn | June 05, 2007 at 09:56 AM
Hi, Just read some of the comments. Girls, you are right. Letting V.R. products go is a huge mistake. I am 66, and the only products worth bothering about was th V.R. line. Boomers are a BIG group, you would think Revlon would consider that. I did however find some on clearance today at Big Lots, if you have said store in your area. Just goes to show you that BIG companies don't know much. Revlon should be ashamed---I hope some company will pick up the ball and run with it. Revlon, you goofed.

I to have been running all over the city looking for the Vital Radiance face primer and foundation and I was shocked when the sales clerk at Walgreens told me it was discontinued. I am 58 years old and it was the best make up I have found for my skin type at any price. I certainly hope some one will pick up this line and put in back in stores.

Hi Everyone,
If you live in New York City there is a store that still carries Vital Radiance. Here is the info and phone number. Not sure if they mail product out, but you can ask:
Cosmetics Warehouse
250 West 39th St
212-302-5799
Enjoy!

Of course I'm ticked off about my favorite make-up being yanked off the shelves. But what really raises my hackles is being discounted by Big Business once again. When, when, WHEN...will corporate America ever get it that "women of a certain age" are the ones driving commerce in this country?! You'd think that at least REVLON (who markets to women) would "get it" ... after all, I'm sure they have a couple of over-paid market researchers on their team. And you don't need to be a MBA-wielding marketing guru to know that women over age 40 have the Power of the Purse! Women control over 80 percent of ALL spending in the US of A and Baby Boomers are the largest and wealthiest segment of that population. We know what we want -- and we can pay for it! Pay attention REVLON!

REVLON...GET OFF YOUR DUFF AND SEE THAT YOU HAVE MADE A VERY BIG MISTAKE. WHY DO YOU ALWAYS SEEM TO CATER TO THE YOUNGER PEOPLE.. WE ARE THE BABY BOOMERS AND NEED A GOOD MAKE UP. THERE ARE PLENTY OF COSMETICS OUT THERE FOR THE YOUNG GALS..WE NEED MORE HELP AND YOU HAVE TAKEN THE PRODUCT OFF THE MARKET...MAY I ASK? WHOS'S RUNNING THE SHOW, A 25 YR OLD?? PLEASE BRING IT BACK

PLEASE,PLEASE DO NOT TAKE VITAL RADIANCE OFF THE MARKET. IT WORKS AND I CAN AFFORD IT.
PLEASE KEEP THIS MAKEUP ON THE MARKET,

I am so disappointed that Vital Radiance has been discontinued. Please bring it back! I have never had such good results with any kind of make up. I'm in my late 40's and I NEED this product line. I suggest that you wake up and realize that the world is not made up of only 20 somethings. Middle aged women are running the world! Get with it Revlon!
Posted by: Janice Ford | June 19, 2007 at 03:41 AM
I too am so disappointed that this makeup has been discontinued!! Why didn't you give it more time to be on the market? One month it was there and the next month it was gone.
Posted by: c. k. nelson | June 20, 2007 at 12:37 PM
I am beyond ticked off that this line was pulled. Yesterday I went to replace my foundation only to discover that it was discontinued. Today I discover that I spent $13 on another product that leaves my skin looking patchy and feels like I have a mask on.
Bring back this product!
