Go Figure

I am a Dividends Preferred member on U.S. Airways (a holdover from the golden days of America West).  I fly them almost exclusively because one of their hubs is Phoenix.

After years of juggling U.S. Air's whacky scheduling, I decided a few weeks ago to try another airline on today's trip to Nashville (then on to Michigan), in order to arrive at an earlier time.  Guess which airline I chose?

Yup.  American Airlines.

My flight was canceled, of course.  At least the American folks were kind enough to re-book me on another airline in order to get me there on time.  Guess which airline they chose?

Yup.  U.S. Air.

And so it goes...
