As you can tell by the infrequent posts to this blog over the last several weeks, I have been on the road. The light at the end of the travel tunnel cometh April 14, when my last speaking engagement for the season (so far...) is over.
I've been fooling around with podcasts and thought I'd add a little tidbit of my own - an excerpt from a recent speaking gig I had at the national convention for the Gospel Music Association. In this 3 minute segment, I woke the crowd up with some things that are happening in culture and technology, changing the way we do business... it's all about Customer Empowerment.
Happy listening... 21st Century Customer Empowerment Podcast

Very impressive. Very high tech. Is streaming video far behind???
I thought the word was out. The customer is in charge...and a growing number of customers want first-run movies on demand. HD Net, DVD's, video I-Pods and on and on.
There are reasons the movie audience has declined by 30 million over the last 3 years. Hey theater owners: we want high quality entertainment when and where WE want it, not when you dictate we can have it, and we want it without all the grief we have to go through now to get it.
HOORAY for those like Mark Cuban who are pioneering new business models.

I still haven't ventured down the podcast road yet. One of these days... when I can get the world to stop for an hour or two ;-)
