Inc.com, website for Inc. magazine, launched a stylish new website today complete with a full business resource center.
I'm honored to have been invited by Inc. to come on board as a columnist for their marketing section - my first column debuts today. My columns will rotate every two weeks with those of Adam Hanft, renowned author of the magazine's back page column, "Grist."
Check it out if you get a chance - and be sure to spend some time perusing the new site. Inc. has done an awesome job of creating a central resource for businesses of all sizes.

Congrats on the column, that’s really cool. Regarding the article I take away a few lessons. "Get real", fluff is secondary such as mags & comfy interior but key is still to offer a great service. "Simple solutions win" fixing problems don’t have to be complex, they might take work and thinking a new way but they are usually simple and straight forward. Then as you said in the end "prioritize customer needs" and not the business needs.
